£35,000 Basic Salary, £45,000 OTE + Car + Benefits + Excellent Prospects
Rare sales role with a significant publisher representing a wide and diverse range of branded games across all formats. With 50 staff and a turnover in excess of £12M this games publisher have produced some of the most popular sports games titles across Europe. Clients include the major retail multiples and independent game retailers. This is a role for a proven Business Development Manager with success of placing FMCG food or non-food products into at least one of the major grocery retailers and/or electrical/electronics retailers.
Building on the success of selling through wholesale and distribution your role will be to take the products directly into the major multiples and is business development focused. The role reports directly into the Chief Executive and is likely to develop into Sales Management within twelve months. Ultimately your remit will be to secure new accounts and then recruit and develop the team to Account Manage them together with the existing distribution and wholesale accounts.
To succeed you will be a business developer with proven experience of placing product with major multiples and have contacts at head office procurement level
You will be a confident business developer that is experienced in forging strong business relationships at senior levels and is used to introducing new products and incentive schemes to maximise sales. You will have a consultative, relationship oriented yet assertive approach to business development and be a gregarious and ambitious team player. You will have a 'can do' attitude and possess a solid work ethic. In addition you will be well presented with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
